Chakravyuh is a 2012 Indian Telugu romantic comedy-drama film directed by Surender Reddy, produced by N. Ashok Tejwal and P. Sreekumar. The film features Ravi Teja and Genelia D'Souza in the lead roles. Chiranjeevi wrote the story and dialogues for the film, making his debut with a film as a writer. The music for the film was composed by Devi Sri Prasad and was released on 7 August 2012. The film was released on 12 August 2012.
Plot
Rahul is the only son of a businessman, Prasad Rao (Nagineedu), who is dying of heart disease. Rahul's father is also interested in the dog racing business. To succeed in the business, Rahul has to marry a rich girl. Prasad decides to throw a party and invites all the business houses in Hyderabad, who later regret their decision to attend it. At the party, the fortune teller Baba (P. V. Narasimha Rao) predicts that a girl with whom Rahul is in love will stop him from enjoying his business and he will be ruined in the business. It is the girl herself.
Rahul proposes to a female friend of his, Sridevi (Genelia D'Souza) in a bid to get her dad's approval for marriage, but Sridevi makes it clear to him that she is not interested in marriage. He begins to fall for Latha (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), but she is in a relationship with a police officer, who she says is serious about her. To avoid further complications, he rejects Sridevi. He hears that Prasad's estranged son, Rajiv, is in a relationship with a girl, Nandini (Bhanupriya). Prasad approves of the marriage of Rahul and Nandini.
Rajiv, who is angry with his father, cheats in the dog racing business. Rajiv's business partner comes to know about the cheating and kills Rajiv. Plot :
A powerful Indian Army officer called Subedar Satish Chand is captured by the Taliban in a secret battle in Afghanistan.
